SECTORAL STATISTICAL DEVELOPMENT

Thursday, January 25, 2024, BPS East Manggarai had the opportunity to carry out an evaluation in 2023 and make plans for 2024 for the implementation of Sectoral Statistics Implementation Evaluation (EPSS) activities, together with several OPDs of East Manggarai Regency, including the Communication and Information Service, Agriculture Service, Agricultural Service and Public Service Agency Regional Drinking Water Supply System. EPSS is an assessment process carried out by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) systematically through verification and validation of information on the results of independent assessments to measure the level of maturity in implementing sectoral statistics. The EPSS output is the Statistical Development Index (IPS), which is an indicator that describes the level of maturity in implementing sectoral statistics in each government agency that organizes sectoral statistical activities. IPS is one of the General Bureaucratic Reform (RB) assessment indicators for all government agencies. Apart from that, IPS can also be a measure in achieving One Indonesian Data and administering statistical affairs at the regional government level.
