2024 BPS PODES data collection for East Manggarai Regency

Starting May 2 2024, BPS East Manggarai Regency will carry out 2024 Village Potential Data Collection (PODES) activities in 159 villages and 17 sub-districts in the East Manggarai Regency area. This data collection was also carried out at the sub-district and East Manggarai Regency levels. This data collection was carried out using the CAPI (Computer Assisted Personal Interviews) method.

A total of 35 East Manggarai Regency BPS partner officers, consisting of enumerators and supervisors, were assigned to carry out this data collection. Before going to the field, the officer had attended officer training which was held from 25 to 29 April 2024.

The aim of this podes data collection is to produce data for regional development purposes, providing data about regional potential, availability of infrastructure/facilities, as well as socio-economic conditions in each village/kelurahan. The resulting data is able to describe the potential of an area at the village/subdistrict, sub-district and East Manggarai Regency levels.
