The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is one of the sources of socio-economic data. SUSENAS data is used for planning and evaluation of national development programs, Planning and Evaluation of Sectoral Development Programs (Ministries/Institutions) and Provision of SDG's, RPJMN and Nawacita Indicators. Meanwhile, the indicators generated from SUSENAS data include the Macro Development Target Indicator, the RPJMN Indicator and the SDG's Indicator.

Susenas data is widely used by various circles, both government and non-government. Three of the four development targets are produced from Susenas activities. Therefore, SUSENAS data must be maintained and improved for continuity, availability and data quality. So in its implementation (data collection), responsible and capable officers are needed to carry out the data collection properly. The September SUSENAS data collection was carried out using the socio-cultural and educational module (MSBP)

The implementation of the September 2024 Susenas update will be carried out on September 11-15, 2024 and the data collection will be carried out on September 20-30, 2024.
