Visit of St Stanislaus Junior High School Wholesale Regarding HDI Data in East Manggarai

Tuesday, April 15, 2025 BPS East Manggarai Regency received a visit from students of St. Stanislaus Borong Junior High School. Ir. Sunarmi, M.A.P as the head of BPS East Manggarai Regency appointed Mr. Angga to help direct and explain their needs to visit BPS East Manggarai.

Based on the results of interviews with 6 representatives who entered the PST room, it was stated that around 20 students of St. Stanislaus Borong Junior High School intended to inquire about East Manggarai HDI data related to school assignments given by teachers in social subjects.

This is one of the manifestations of increasing public awareness about the importance and usefulness of data. The teacher's actions can also be the first step for our society, especially the younger generation of the Indonesian nation, to be literate about the need to use data as the main basis in revealing facts and conditions/phenomena that are happening.
