Wednesday, June 11, 2025, the Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of East Manggarai Regency, Ir. Sunarmi, M.A.P., opened the follow-up activities of Sectoral Statistics Development (PSS) with a focus on explaining Domain 2. This activity was attended by related Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) within the East Manggarai Regency Government.
Domain 2 in Sectoral Statistics Development is Data Quality. This domain focuses on the process of providing assurance that the output produced meets the established quality standards.
Here are some aspects related to the Data Quality Dimension:
Relevance: The extent to which the data meets user needs
Uptime and Timeliness: Uptime refers to the difference between the time a statistical data/information is generated and the time the data/information is disseminated. Timeliness refers to the dissemination of data according to the promised schedule.
Accessibility: How easy it is for users to access data/information (including metadata)
Accuracy: The ability of data to accurately explain phenomena
Coherence and Comparability: Coherence refers to the ability of data to be combined and used together. Comparability refers to the ability of data to be compared over time and between regions.
Interpretability: Understanding and clarity of data With the explanation of Domain 2, it is hoped that OPDs can better understand the importance of the national statistical system and can contribute to the development of a better system.
