BRIEFING FOR OFFICERS UPDATING THE TOURISM SERVICES DIRECTORY FOR THE YEAR 2025

BRIEFING UDP - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of East Manggarai Regency held a Briefing for Updating the Directory of Tourism Services (UDP) on Tuesday (17/06) at 09.00 WITA in the BPS Central Room. This event was officially opened by the head of BPS East Manggarai Regency, Mrs. Ir. Sunarmi, M.A.P., who conveyed the importance of the directory updating activity as an effort to provide current information regarding the development of companies and institutions in the tourism service sector. After the opening, the session continued with a presentation by the Distribution Team, Yohana Mariana Meo, A.Md.Stat., who explained the technical implementation of the survey and the objectives to be achieved.

Updating the Directory of Tourism Service Businesses is an annual activity aimed at collecting data and information on the characteristics of businesses, especially in the regional-owned enterprises (BUMD) sector and the tourism industry. For the tourism sector, the data coverage includes accommodation provision, food and beverage services, arts, entertainment and recreation, as well as tourism areas. This briefing is intended to prepare field officers to have adequate understanding in collecting data accurately, on time, and in accordance with standards.
